Our Women
It was a real privilege to take part in the Gibraltar Women Writers seminar on Friday evening and I have written about it in more detail in my Events page:
I thought I’d also share this short video of me reading a couple of my poems. I wanted to explore my own thinking about women and what I envisage as the archetypal female image embodied in what we term “Gibraltar Women”. It’s interesting that sometimes when you write poetry, you are working with an idea but what emerges is sometimes a far deeper insight into your own thoughts.
