The Last Lullaby

Jackie’s fascination with ghost stories is first given rein with The Last Lullaby. This is a collection of chilling tales perfect for Halloween and those long winter evenings. An ancient dance awakens the terrifying spirits of Dead Man's Tree, girls playing around with a ouija board rouse a vengeful undead witch from the grave and a demon haunts the corridors of an old hospital to prey on new born babes - just some of the stories to unsettle you on those dark, winter nights.

The inspiration for these stories came from the long walks home from school on winter nights when Jackie would find herself telling her children (they insisted) “spooky stories”. It helped that they had to walk past the cemetery on the way. Jackie now finds herself looking for ghosts in every nook and cranny of her surroundings and spinning tales about what she sees…or imagines.
